Located in Zhuanlong, 66kms from the city of Chengdu, the Flower Valley covers an area over 1,000 mu of typical hilly land on the west edge of Sichuan Province.
Starting in May 2013, The Flower Valley Tourism Development Co. Ltd has so far developed the largest theme garden of hollyhock flowers containing most varieties in the world. Apart from the three theme gardens of Chinese hollyhock, Chinese native lilies and hibiscus mutabilis, The Flower Valley Tourism Development Co. Ltd has also cultivated nearly a thousand varieties of other beautifully charming flowers, such as Dianthus chinensis L., Chinese callistephus chinensis, dull ice flower, China pink, corn popies, common zinnia, dahlia, coreopsis, etc. making good use of the natural bushes, ponds and lakes of the hilly land. These flowers bloom in sequence, following the climate changes of the four seasons.
